CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: SOCIAL PROTECTION FLOOR SUCCESS STORIES

The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Special Unit for South-South Cooperation invite nominations for initiatives with successful social protection floor experiences. Selected nominees will be asked to develop a case study of the Social Protection Floor Initiative (SPF-I) and to present and discuss their experience at an international workshop in Turin, Italy in July 2010. The case studies will be published by the UNDP Special Unit for South-South cooperation as volume 17 of the series: Sharing Innovative Experiences.
Who can participate?
Any national or local governmental agency, scientific institution or practitioner that can document the process of how a successful Social Protection Floor was established.
Proposals of maximum 1 page can be sent in English, French or Spanish and must be submitted online by 31 March 2010.
